King Charles III praises Princess Kate after cancer diagnosis
King Charles just praised the bravery of his "beloved daughter-in-law" Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who tonight (22 March 2024) posted a video to social media explaining that sadly she has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy after major abdominal surgery found "cancer had been present". Currently, as the Princess is still in treatment, she – like her father-in-law – won't yet have been told that she is cancer-free. The King shared his own diagnosis of cancer earlier this year, which was also found whilst he was undergoing an operation for something else – an enlarged prostate. The Princess added that privacy is essential for her during this tough time – for both and her children's sake. Our thoughts are with both Kate and Charles as they undergo their treatments.
