University Student Tortured to Death

Gloria Mwesigye, the bursar of Metropolitan University in Biharwe, Mbarara district, and her husband have been apprehended by authorities in Mbarara following the tragic death of a student.
The victim, identified as Kelleti Mbabazi, a first-year student pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Education at Bishop Stuart University in Mbarara, met a chilling fate after a visit to the couple’s residence.
After indulging in a few drinks, the two university students, along with Mwesigye and her husband, proceeded to the couple’s home.
Jaberi later left the premises to return to the university, leaving his friend Mbabazi behind at Mwesigye’s residence.
Days passed until Mbabazi’s landlord was informed to identify a body that had been languishing in the morgue, ultimately confirmed by Mbabazi’s university acquaintances.
